"The Maverick" pulls out his secret weapon...

a milf for vice-president. Now there's a way to shake up the election. I almost didn't care that she said nothing of any real depth or importance during her RNC speech. Not to mention, she told a few lies about her record. She just looked so damn hot and feisty when she was taking pot-shots at Barack Obama. Way to pull a double standard and prey on the biases and prejudices of those "smooth talking city-slickers" just like they do towards you and your small town folk. You'll make a great Republican leader, Sarah. You've already got that demagogue thing down pat.

Damn, Barack. You should have picked her. I wish she was your Obama girl.

Two thumbs of freedom up your ass and a bitch slap of change, America. They'll strike the fear (glory) of God into America and the world one way or another! They're not looking for a fight, but they've got the glory of God on their side. So look out because they ain't afraid to fight! I can't wait for some change, some Republican style change with a dash self-righteous evangelicalism.

And did anyone see the shot of Cindy McCain before she was passed Sarah's special child? It was hilarious! She looked absolutely mortified. Every time they showed her with the baby cradled uncomfortably in her arms her face read: "Oh my God, for the love of God let this be over soon. Get this "special child" out of my hands. Oh my God, I think he just shit his pants."

McCain is right, experience counts...

One of the reoccurring themes of the election has been "experience". McCain claims that Obama doesn't have the necessary experience to lead America out of the mess that eight-years of Republican leadership has gotten us into. I would claim that Obama's lack of experience is a good thing, especially compared to McCain's formidable life experience.

Time and action have proven that McCain has the experience of not having the cognitive fortitude to make sound decisions (6 plane crashes), remember the names of countries, or where exactly he owns homes. In addition, McCain is a renowned hothead (which he himself admits with pride in his memoir). I mean, do we really want a president that is able to hold is breath until he passes out when things don't go his way?

And when did getting tortured become a qualification for being president? I mean, we should show him some respect for his patriotism. But truth be told, if he wasn't such a reckless pilot he wouldn't have gotten himself into that mess in the first place. And he even had a chance to get out, but chose not to because he wanted to make his father proud. That sounds more like reckless pride with a touch of masochism than patriotism to me. Those are not qualities I want in a president.

One more thing-elitism. I find nothing more funny than a bunch of rich white-men calling a black-man who "pulled himself up by his bootstraps" an elitist. I mean, you don't get more elitist than the Bush or McCain family. I guess, they don't consider going to Yale or being a member of skull and bones despite being a pathetic student elitism. Cronyism is cool in the Republican party, but elitism is bad. That's why Americans are always touting values such as: "we're number 1", "the leaders and the best", "the best man for the job", "with hard work and perseverance the cream rises to the top", Regan's "trickle down economics", tax-cuts for the ultra-rich, and worshipping elite athletes like Michael Phelps. America was founded and built on elitist values, especially the Republican party. There's nothing more hypocritical or ridiculous than Republicans touting anti-elitism.

So, McCain is absolutely right. Experience matters. And his life experiences portray more of an egotistical, self-righteous, elitist, masochist than a patriot who puts the well-being and future of his country in front of his own ego. His maverick status isn't so much because he is concerned about change or doing things differently, but because he's a hard-headed asshole whose used to getting and doing what he wants. And when he doesn't get what he wants he holds his breath until he passes out. In other words, he puts himself in needless danger in order to appease his bloated ego. Except, when he's president he'll be putting the whole country at the mercy of his reckless, egotistical whims.

America is #1, indeed. No need to worry.

Roseanne has a point...

Albeit, she could have made her point less venemously and excluded bringing innocent (until they grow up) children into the fray.

Her point is that Hollywood "royalty", as the douche-bag synchophats on celebrity t.v. shows like to call them, are a bunch of stinking hypocrites the size of which only pales in comparison to their self-righteous egos.

People like Jolie and Pitt (and the California elite in general) love to parade around how self-righteous and enlightened they are to the rest of the country/world. And if everyone could just be a little more like them the world would be picture perfect like an air-brushed photo on the cover of Vanity Fair.

The thing is: the world cannot support the California/West-Coast/Hollywood lifestyle that they perpetuate through their life-styles and films. The amount of resources Brangelina consume has to be astounding compared to the average American. I'd love to know the combined carbon foot-print of the Hollywood/West Coast elite compared to the average Midwestern and Southerner who they love to demonize. I'm sure it's a lot because California already pollutes more than the rest of the country combined.

And while it was distasteful for Roseanne to bring Brangelina's kids into the fray she has a point when she say they'll come out "dunces". Those kids are going to be so spoiled that by the time they reach adult-hood they might as well have grown up as white, spoiled, Beverly Hills brats who consume far more than their fair share of the world's resources.

People just don't seem to get it that everything has to change-our lifestyles, mentalities, economies, governments, etc. The sad truth is that humanity learns the hard way. As long as we hold onto the same consumerist, "me, me, me, I'm so fucking special" mentalities nothing is going to really change. That is, until the bottom falls out on our shaky foundations and we're drowning in our own bull-shit.

Until that day happens I'm finding higher ground.

Oh, and I like Bragelina. I just think they're well-paid pawns to a system that they think they're helping to fight/change when in reality they're just perpetuating it despite their self-righteous, ego-stroking efforts. After-all, Hollywood types really aren't that smart and can't see anything outside their own little, individual boxes of greatness.

Go Hollywood hypocrites! Keep on making the psychotic movies that teach kids that they can't be happy without a bunch of cool stuff they don't need! People like you will truly save the world someday-by inadvertently helping to destroy it first so it can be rebuilt.

Roseanne had a point...

The masses prefer a pristine lie to the down and dirty truth-

nothings changed in the world. Just the clothes and the fancy rhetoric is all. It will all come crashing down soon enough, and then the truth will be revealed. Nobody is going to like it. Most will not be able to accept it and will go completely insane (even more so than most people already are).

What's really happening in Georgia?

According to my Marine friend and a few people that I know that work in intelligence they think it's much worse than anyone can possibly imagine.

It's kind of like that song by Metallica "Of Wolf and Man". Listen to it and you'll get an idea of what's happening in the world right now. "Sad but True" is also a fitting song.

Anyways, have you ever looked at where Georgia is located on the map? If you haven't noticed it's in the perfect location for staging operations in the Middle-East not only for us, but for Russia as well. They know if we lose Iraq we will immediately set up some serious shop there. They don't want that for once glaring reason-they're preemptively preparing for WWIII.

That's not to say Russia wants to start a war merely for starting a war. They're preparing because they're cold hard realists that lack "the audacity of hope". Unlike Americans the Russian government has basically come to the conclusion that the coming climate crisis as a result of global warming is unavoidable. As a result, they're preparing for the major countries of the world to go to war over resources. Securing Georgia is a good start for them because it will cut us off from the Middle-East, prevent us from building missle defense systems, and will give them a direct point of entry to the Middle-East.

Another sad truth is that quite a few American scientists think the coming climate crisis is also unavoidable. Not to mention, the DOD expects as much as well. That's why we're in Iraq and setting up missle defense systems along the Russian border. We claim to have cladestine motives, but that's just a bunch of hypocritical American bullshit. We've become so good at fooling the world to our false ideals/values that the majority of Americans whole-heartedly believe our own bullshit.

Russia doesn't care for bullshit, they cut straight to the cold hard truth. They don't care about hopes, dreams, ideals, or values. All they care about is results. In their minds they're preparing for the inevitable.

Good by, cruel world. It will all be over soon, for most of us. In the end it will be a lesson well learned that will help us start a grand new beginning.
