Bush needs to stop trying to "inspire" confidence.

Bush is just making things worse by trying to "inspire" confidence in the American public and the world in general. He's lost whatever credibility he had a long time ago. Therefore, every time he comes on television and says "everything is fine" everyone thinks the opposite-that everything is not fine. If he really wants to help out he'd just keep his pie hole shut and let his term run out before he does any more damage.
